John brings with him over 30 years of experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare consulting. He has previously held various leadership positions including the role of CEO Invida, where he successfully positioned the business as a leading commercialization specialist in the region. Invida was acquired by A. Menarini where John continued as CEO of Menarini Asia Pacific until 2015, transforming the business into a regional pharma company.

John started his career with Aventis, where he spent 18 years in various operational and global leadership positions including regional responsibilities in Latin America, Head of Global Diabetes, and Global VP of New Products. Following that, he was Managing Director of Genzyme's operations in Germany and Switzerland before building up a Life Sciences Advisory Practice at Ernst & Young.
Evasio Barbero
Chief Financial Officer
LinkedinEvasio Barbero provides strategic financial leadership to Zuellig Pharma. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for ensuring that the company’s strategy creates shareholder value; implementing financial processes and controls to deliver growth and return on investment goals.

Evasio brings over 30 years of experience building and leading finance functions predominantly in and around the supply chain and logistics sector. His previous positions include leading regional and global service companies, including the Dusit Group, Ceva Logistics, DKSH and TNT.
<br /><br />
He has been based in various countries, playing key strategic and operational roles for organisations in establishing and expanding operations in Asia.
Luis Enriquez
Chief Technology Officer
LinkedinLuis Enriquez leads Zuellig Pharma's technology operations as the organisation's Chief Technology Officer. In his role, he oversees enterprise-wide digital strategy and is responsible for the digital transformation of the company, including the incorporation and expansion of innovative, cutting-edge solutions in Zuellig Pharma's distribution and healthcare services businesses.

He most recently served as the Head of Grabber Technology Solutions and Enterprise Cybersecurity at Southeast Asia's largest transport, food delivery and payment solutions company Grab, where he was responsible for the definition, implementation and operationalisation of the Grab IT strategy. In his role, he led the implementation of IT, cybersecurity and operations for the establishment of the first digital bank in Southeast Asia in partnership with Singtel, and the e-commerce and digital transformation of Grab through COVID-19.

Luis has nearly three decades of experience in advising multinational corporations and Fortune 100 companies in the implementation of transformative technological solutions and the designing and deploying of digital strategies. He has held leadership positions in pioneering organisations such as General Electric, Accenture, and AIG.
<br /><br />
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and is fluent in five languages.
Rehan Q. Saghir
Executive Vice President, ZP Therapeutics
LinkedinRehan Saghir leads Zuellig Pharma’s ZP Therapeutics business, where he oversees a passionate team of associates in the development of sales, marketing, medical, access, commercial excellence, business development, HR, finance, compliance and regulatory strategies.

His leadership supports both established and newly launched ethical and consumer healthcare brands and drives the adoption of innovative digital tools for business growth.

Rehan brings with him over 30 years of experience. He was previously overseeing operations in Eli Lilly after various senior executive roles where he supported employees across Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Bangladesh and ASEAN.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Karachi in Pakistan.
Maikel Kuijpers
Executive Vice President, Distribution
LinkedinMaikel Kuijpers began his career with Zuellig Pharma over 25 years ago and has extensive leadership experience across the company. His current role involves leading the company's distribution business across the region and implementing new growth initiatives as well potential investments in modernisation, process excellence and digital innovation.

Prior to this, Maikel was EVP, Philippines where he led and directed Zuellig Pharma's business in the country. He held several leadership positions in the company beforehand including CIO and SVP Operations responsible for Zuellig Pharma's overall IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. He was also General Manager for several key markets - Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Brunei, where he led the development and growth of Zuellig Pharma's business.
Giuseppe Leo
Senior Vice President, Clinical Reach

He has been with Zuellig Pharma for over 20 years, starting his journey in Zuellig Pharma Malaysia and has held a number of leadership positions across the company during this time.

Giuseppe has more than 30 years of experience in the global logistics industry, and more than 25 years of experience in Asia. Prior to his current role, he oversaw the development of Zuellig Pharma's North Asia, Singapore and Specialty Solutions businesses, where he led the development of a pioneering bio-logistics regional hub and the creation of our Clinical Reach business.

Carol Xu

As a member of the Executive Management Team, Carol supports the company’s strategic initiatives by strengthening an effective organisation and ensuring attraction, growth and retention of the best and brightest talent.

Carol has spent two decades leading global teams in organisational effectiveness, talent management, and HR transformation in large multi-national companies. Prior to her role at Zuellig Pharma, she was the Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer at Lazada eLogistics and Lazada Express. Additionally, she held several senior executive roles at Phillips Healthcare in China, the United States and Singapore, including a role as the global head of HR for Phillips Ultrasound Business Group.

Carol holds a master's degree in International Business and Economics, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
Ng Chong Jin
General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

In a highly regulated environment, Chong Jin is acutely aware that the Legal and Compliance function plays a critical business partnering role to ensure the success of the organisation.

Chong Jin started out his legal career in private practice as a Corporate Finance lawyer with one of the leading law firms in Singapore and moved into an in-house role after five years. He has since accumulated over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector and has taken on various roles in the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, devices and healthcare provider industries. In one of his more recent roles with an MNC, he led GSK's legal team as a shared service function for the Asia Pacific region.

Robert Kruit
Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development
LinkedinRobert Kruit leads the Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function, and is responsible for building partnerships with Zuellig Pharma’s key clients across Distribution, ZP Therapeutics and Technology, as well as for M&A.

Having joined in 2011, Robert has held country management positions in Bangladesh, Vietnam and Malaysia & Brunei. Prior to this, he worked with Heineken and Hilton Hotels in Europe and the Middle East in country and regional supply chain leadership roles.

He is passionate about the industry and Zuellig Pharma’s purpose to make healthcare more accessible and has served as board member of Pharma Group in Vietnam and the Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia (PhAMA).

Robert holds an INSEAD Master in Change, as well as an MBA and MSc in Marketing from Heriot-Watt.
Jean-Gaetan Guillemaud
Vice President, Corporate Affairs
LinkedinJean-Gaetan Guillemaud leads the Corporate Affairs function, which encompasses Corporate Communications, Government Affairs and Sustainability.

Jean-Gaetan has 15 years of experience working across Asia in various commercial and functional roles, with a focus on the improvement of healthcare standards across Asia. He joined Zuellig Pharma in 2014 as Country Manager, Cambodia, and now leads the environmental, social and public policy efforts of the organisation. Before joining Zuellig Pharma, Jean-Gaetan co-founded and led a distribution agency in New Delhi.

Beyond championing sustainability initiatives for Zuellig Pharma, Jean-Gaetan focuses his efforts on external engagements to help drive higher sustainability standards within the healthcare and logistics sectors. He is a member of the EU ABC Supervisory Board, Advisor to the US NGO PSI in Cambodia and Non-Executive Director of the Angkor Hospital for Children.

Brett Marshall
Vice President, Quality Assurance & HSSE
LinkedinBrett Marshall is the Vice President of Quality Assurance & HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment). Based in Singapore, Brett oversees the company's quality assurance heads and HSSE leads, as well as quality operations of its clinical reach business.

Brett is a strong advocate of positive change for the quality landscape in Asia. He actively drives improvements in risk management in the cold chain, supplier management and digitisation opportunities to move towards Industry 4.0 in the quality space. He is also a strong supporter of sustainability and a certified sustainable supply chain professional.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Brett has a bachelor's degree in transport & logistics management from RMIT. He has 25 years of experience in executive management, logistics & supply chain, business process transformation and quality assurance and 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He has spent more than 20 years living in Asia including Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Bangladesh and now Singapore.
